BetterPoints has partnered with the University of Sunderland to offer staff and students exclusive rewards and prize draw entries.
All you need to do is download the free BetterPoints app from Google Play or the App Store (or scan the QR below) and register with your University of Sunderland email address. Once you've taken the baseline survey, you can earn 25 BetterPoints for arriving on campus sustainably, plus BetterPoints for all your walking/wheeling, cycling and public transport trips in Sunderland.

We are delighted to partner with the University of Sunderland to offer hot drink vouchers to all BetterPoints Sunderland participants for just 1,200 BetterPoints. These can be used at seven on-campus cafes, many of which are open to the public:
- Studio, Gateway and Hope Street cafes, open to the public all year round
- Riverside and Reg Vardy cafes, open to the public during term time
- Priestman and Wearside View cafes, only open for staff and students during term time
- You can also get a hot drink at the National Glass Centre for 2,500 BetterPoints
